Turning Agribusiness Data into Action

November 2025 – Alpharetta, GA – Greenstone Systems, a Cultura company and leading provider of mid-market agribusiness software solutions, today announced the official launch of Insights, a next-generation business intelligence (BI) platform designed to help grain, feed, and agribusiness operations transform operational data from core business systems, including ERPs such as AGRIS, into clear, actionable insights. Insights is a key addition to the Greenstone ecosystem today, with more ERP integrations on the horizon.

Following a successful pilot program with select customers, Insights is now broadly available to the agribusiness community—delivering dashboards, flexible alerts, and intuitive analytics that empower teams to make confident, data-driven decisions.

From Data to Decisions

Insights transforms how agribusinesses view, share, and act on operational information. Connecting directly to the ERP, it unifies grain inventory, discounts, and contracts into a single reliable view. Users can monitor performance, spot trends, and respond instantly to market changes.

From Data to Decisions

Insights transforms how agribusinesses view, share, and act on operational information. Connecting directly to the ERP, it unifies grain inventory, discounts, and contracts into a single reliable view. Users can monitor performancespot trends, and respond instantly to market changes.

Key capabilities include:

  • Near real-time visibility into grain movement and position from any device.
  • Detailed discount and premium tracking to strengthen margin management.
  • Alerts for unsigned or delayed contracts to protect revenue.
  • Year-over-year customer insights to support strategic growth.
  • Scheduled reports and notifications to keep teams aligned.

Insights gives our customers a clearer line of sight into their business. We listened to what our customers needed most—simple, meaningful visibility—and built Insights to help them turn that information into confident, daily decisions.

Duey Yliniemi, General Manager at Greenstone Systems

That immediate access to reliable information is already changing how finance leaders approach reporting and analysis.

From my perspective as a CFO, Insights enables me with immediate visibility without needing to run a report and then manipulate the data in Excel using pivot tables or other formats.

Billy Wickham, CFO at Frontier Ag Inc.

Guided by Customer Experience

Developed in collaboration with pilot users, Insights reflects how agribusinesses actually work. Feedback from early adopters guided core design and functionality choices, ensuring the platform is practical, intuitive, and impactful

Being able to pull my customer information with ease anytime, anywhere is very helpful to me. If we’d had this last year, we would have caught an accidental payment in premiums instead of a subtraction in discounts with one of our larger customers.

Carly Wheeting, Merchandiser at Glacial Lakes Energy

Built for What’s Next

With its launch, Insights marks a new chapter in Greenstone’s ongoing investment in connected, data-driven agribusiness technology. The platform’s flexible foundation will continue to evolve, adding new dashboards, reports, and integrations that build on customer feedback and industry needs.

Insights is more than a reporting tool—it’s a foundation for smarter, faster operations. It also sets the stage for more advanced analytics capabilities in the future, helping our customers unlock the full potential of their data.

Real-Time Data Keeps Agribusiness Ahead This Harvest https://greenstonesystems.com/real-time-data-keeps-agribusiness-ahead-this-harvest/ Mon, 27 Oct 2025 16:38:26 +0000 https://greenstonesystems.com/?p=85128 Learn how Greenstone's Insights platform helps agribusinesses stay ahead with real-time visibility into contracts, inventory, and customer data—empowering faster, smarter decisions during harvest.

The post Real-Time Data Keeps Agribusiness Ahead This Harvest appeared first on Greenstone Systems.

]]>

Harvest is the busiest and opportunity-rich time of year for agribusinesses. Trucks are arriving, contracts are closing, and customers expect quick answers. In that fast-paced environment, the best decisions happen in the moment. From tracking discounts and premiums to managing contracts, or simply answering questions as they occur, every second counts.

How Real-Time Insights Drive Better Decisions

When managers and merchandisers can see accurate data the moment it changes, they gain control and confidence. Real-time visibility ensures discounts and premiums are applied correctly, contracts move forward without delay, and customer inquiries are answered immediately.

One grain division manager shared that confirming details during harvest often required backtracking through reports before adopting live visibility. Proactive data access allows the team to validate, communicate, and act instantly, keeping operations smooth and customers satisfied.

Insights: Designed for Harvest Speed

That’s why Greenstone built Insights—a business intelligence platform made for agribusiness. Insights connects directly with AGRIS and oneWeigh, delivering real-time, curated data through clean, role-based dashboards.

Instead of waiting on reports or juggling spreadsheets, teams can view live updates on grain inventory, contract status, and customer activity. Smart alerts highlight exceptions—like a delayed contract or a pricing anomaly—so action happens immediately, not later.

Harvest-Proven Results

Beta customers are already seeing measurable improvements. One merchandiser explained that she can now access complete customer information “in a couple of clicks, anytime, anywhere”—a process that once took multiple steps. Another team uses on-demand visibility into discounts and premiums to guide decisions during harvest, helping them stay ahead rather than catch up.

For CFOs and executives, the benefits are equally powerful. Instead of relying on CSV exports and manual spreadsheets, they can access key performance metrics instantly. This immediate visibility helps leaders respond faster, protect profitability, and keep operations running efficiently at harvest speed.

Stay Ahead This Harvest

Harvest won’t slow down—and now, you don’t have to either. With Insights, agribusinesses gain real-time clarity, speed, and confidence when decisions matter most.

What Greenstone Customers Need to Know

As of October 15, 2025, Microsoft officially ended support for Windows 10. The operating system will no longer receive security updates, bug fixes, or technical support from Microsoft, marking a significant transition for businesses worldwide. It also affects how Greenstone develops, tests, and supports our products.

How This Change Affects Greenstone Products

With Microsoft closing the Windows 10 chapter, Greenstone no longer tests product versions on that platform. Our team remains committed to assisting customers running older hardware or software, but upgrading to a supported system will be essential for optimal performance and security.

The following Greenstone products are affected by this change:

  • Rapids
  • Insight CRM
  • Greenstone Agents and Services – including Mobile App, MyGrower, Rapids, and Insight
  • AgroGuide Blender Controls
  • AttachToo Storage
  • Connect2 – John Deere Multi-use accounts (formerly Farmplan)
  • BulkWeigh
  • Binsight
  • OneFreight
  • Store Manager
  • CINCH and related products

Greenstone’s Ongoing Commitment to Support

Before October 15, Greenstone provided complete testing and support for all Windows 10 systems. Now that Microsoft support has ended, our Customer Support team will still assist with issues related to AGRIS workstations and other affected products.

If an issue appears connected to Windows 10 hardware, compatibility, or security, our team may recommend upgrading to a supported Windows version to ensure fast and effective troubleshooting.

Next Steps: Keep Your Systems Future-Ready

If your business is still running Windows 10, now is the perfect time to plan your upgrade. Moving to a supported Windows version helps protect your systems, maintain compatibility with Greenstone solutions, and take advantage of ongoing improvements and new features.

You Have Options. CINCH Is Not Going Away.

CINCH continues to be fully maintained, enhanced, and supported. As long as your support and maintenance contract remains active, Greenstone stands firmly behind CINCH. You are not required to move to a new system. Your CINCH license is perpetual, meaning you retain the right to use it indefinitely.

Additionally, if you are an Intellego user, you are already using the CINCH platform, both powered by Greenstone. You can keep your business running, ensuring no disruption to your operations, by signing a maintenance agreement with Greenstone. In most cases, working directly with Greenstone can reduce overall costs and CINCH users retain their license rights. Simply connect with our team to learn more.

Microsoft Dynamics Timeline

Microsoft has announced end-of-support timelines for Dynamics GP:

  • December 31, 2029: End of product enhancements, regulatory updates (including tax updates), and Microsoft technical support.
  • April 30, 2031: End of security updates and patches for Dynamics GP customers on a current enhancement plan.

Even after Microsoft’s support ends, Dynamics GP will remain operational. Greenstone will continue to provide full CINCH and GP support after that date. The only change is that we’ll no longer be able to escalate cases directly to Microsoft. Suppose we encounter an issue that cannot be resolved internally or through our ISV partners. In that case, we’ll work with you to identify the best next step—a workaround, an integration, or a guided migration to a new ERP platform.

Moving Forward with Confidence

Now is a strategic time to review your business systems and plan for the future

We can help you extend the life of your existing system by migrating Dynamics GP to a secure cloud environment or optimizing your current setup for maximum performance. Staying current with the latest version ensures you receive Greenstone’s longest support window

As your business grows and evolves, consider whether GP continues to align with your long-term goals. Connect with your Greenstone account manager to explore how we can help your operation scale efficiently and sustainably.

Our Commitment to Your Success

Greenstone’s values—growth orientation, collaboration, authenticity, and transparency—drive every decision we make. We recommend only solutions that strengthen your business today and prepare it for tomorrow.

Visit our Knowledge Base for more CINCH resources or contact Support to discuss your path forward.

A Migration Path Option to AGRIS

While we remain committed to supporting CINCH, we’re also investing in your future through a structured, cost-effective option to transition to AGRIS, one of the nation’s most trusted agribusiness ERP solutions.

Key Benefits:

  • Data Migration Support: Our specialists ensure secure, efficient data transfer.

Agribusiness runs on tight margins. The smallest details can make the biggest difference, from managing discounts and premiums to tracking contracts and inventory. A missed discount or an overlooked payment doesn’t just create extra work—it directly cuts into profitability.

Small Oversights, Big Consequences

Even the most diligent teams can miss critical details during a busy season. One merchandiser from a leading cooperative shared how her team mistakenly paid $450,000 in premiums instead of subtracting $450,000 in discounts—a costly error that better visibility could have prevented. In another instance, an office manager explained how her team had double-paid a customer nearly $2 million before catching the mistake.

These stories show how quickly agribusinesses lose money when teams can’t access details in real time.

Drive Profitability in Agribusiness with Real-Time Insights

The good news? Those exact details that sometimes cause losses also create opportunities to drive profit. When agribusiness leaders gain a clear view of discounts, contracts, and customer activity, they can spot trends, prevent errors, and strengthen relationships.

That’s why Greenstone built Insights—a business intelligence platform for agribusiness that delivers clarity when teams need it most. Insights connects directly with AGRIS and oneWeigh to provide curated, role-based dashboards and alerts. Instead of digging for information, teams immediately see what matters: which contracts remain unsigned, which discounts apply, and how customer performance compares year over year.

Customer-Driven Clarity

Customers already see how these details create real value. One merchandiser said she now accesses a complete picture of her customer “in just a couple of clicks, anytime, anywhere.” A grain division manager shared how on-demand visibility into discounts and premiums guides decisions in the moment, not days later. And CFOs appreciate how they can review performance instantly—without running manual reports or manipulating spreadsheets.

Insights helps teams move faster, reduce costly errors, and uncover new growth opportunities by putting these details front and center.

Profit in the Details

Every discount applied correctly, every contract signed on time, and every customer trend identified adds up to dollars gained and kept. With Greenstone Insights, agribusinesses transform raw data into actionable intelligence that protects margins, improves financial management, and drives long-term profitability.

Agribusiness Software for Ethanol Producers: 5 Key Factors to Consider  https://greenstonesystems.com/agribusiness-software-for-ethanol-producers-5-key-factors/ Tue, 16 Sep 2025 16:54:04 +0000 https://greenstonesystems.com/?p=85059 Discover the 5 key factors for choosing ethanol plant software—ROI, support, integration, scalability, and real-time analytics for producers.

The post Agribusiness Software for Ethanol Producers: 5 Key Factors to Consider  appeared first on Greenstone Systems.

]]>
Choosing the right agribusiness software for ethanol producers can transform your operation—boosting efficiency, protecting margins, ensuring compliance, and providing clearer visibility into inventory and production. The decision can feel overwhelming with so many new ethanol software solutions entering the market. The key is to align the software with your long-term goals and carefully evaluate each option.

Why Choosing the Right Ethanol Software Matters

Ethanol plants operate in a fast-moving, margin-sensitive environment. Software designed specifically for ethanol producers can streamline feedstock procurement, ethanol production tracking, and co-product sales. It can also reduce compliance risks and deliver real-time performance reporting. The right system doesn’t just support day-to-day operations—it positions your ethanol business for sustainable growth and improved financial management.

5 Key Factors for Ethanol Producers When Selecting Software

Before diving into the details, here are the 5 essential factors ethanol producers should evaluate when choosing agribusiness software:

1. Focus on ROI, Not Just Cost

While cost is always a factor, the real value lies in measurable efficiencies and long-term ROI in ethanol software. The right software solution will help you streamline workflows, reduce risks associated with market volatility, provide workflow transparency, minimize manual tasks, and maximize throughput.

For ethanol producers, this can mean automating daily tasks such as matching feedstock purchases against contracts, tracking ethanol production volumes, or balancing co-product sales with shipments. These efficiencies translate into real margin protection—especially valuable in a volatile commodities market.

2. Prioritize Customer Support Backed by Industry Expertise

Ethanol operations are complex, with unique compliance, blending, and reporting requirements. That’s why your software provider’s support team should feel like an extension of your staff.

Look for providers who resolve issues quickly and understand ethanol compliance software and production processes. Reliable, knowledgeable support minimizes downtime, ensures smooth operations, and provides confidence when onboarding new staff, scaling up capacity, or navigating new regulations.

3. Ensure Seamless Technology Integration

Unlike many new entrants offering standalone ethanol solutions, established providers like Greenstone have proven integration capabilities with accounting systems and logistics tracking tools.

Seamless ethanol software integration reduces duplication, prevents data silos, and ensures compliance reporting is accurate. For ethanol producers, this means smoother coordination between grain origination, ethanol production, and downstream sales—giving you a unified, real-time view of your business.

4. Choose a Scalable, Future-Proof Solution

Your ethanol plant software today won’t look the same five years from now. You may expand capacity, add new sites, diversify product lines, or scale up exports. Your software must be ready to support that growth.

A scalable ethanol plant software platform allows you to standardize processes across facilities, expand transaction volumes, and adapt quickly to new regulatory requirements such as the 45Z Tax Credit and the Big Beautiful Bill. With the right system, you avoid disruptive and costly system changes down the road.

5. Look for Real-Time Reporting and Analytics

Real-time insights are critical in ethanol. Software that delivers accurate reporting across feedstock procurement, production efficiency, energy inputs, and co-product sales gives you the visibility needed to protect margins and improve decision-making.

For example, ethanol data analytics can help you track your corn crush and ethanol crush performance, monitor shifts in your crush margin, and use that data to forecast demand, evaluate hedging strategies, and assess operational efficiency in real time. This data-driven approach ensures your team can pivot quickly when market conditions shift.

Why Partner with an Established Ethanol Software Vendor?

The choice in the ethanol industry isn’t just about software features—it’s also about vendor maturity. Many providers in this space are introducing new ethanol software solutions that lack proven integration, focus narrowly on one aspect of the production cycle, or have limited support resources—making them unreliable long-term.

Greenstone brings decades of experience, established processes, and tested systems that ethanol producers can trust. We’ve guided producers through high- and low-margin cycles, giving us the expertise to help you confidently navigate shifting markets. From implementation to ongoing support, we ensure your investment delivers value today and in the future.

The Bottom Line for Ethanol Producers

Choosing the right ethanol plant software isn’t about checking boxes—it’s about finding a partner who can support your growth, protect your margins, and provide the stability your operation needs in a competitive market. By focusing on ROI, productivity, quality control, support, integration, scalability, and analytics—and by working with an established provider—you’ll be positioned for long-term success.

We’ve lacked easy transparence into harvest and location activity before, which made it hard to validate complaints, assess performance, or proactively address issues. This gives us on-demand visibility into discounts and premiums to help guide our decisions.

Janet Bear, Grain Division Manager at Frontier Ag Inc.

Insights will officially launch later this year, bringing agribusinesses a new standard of clarity, efficiency, and profitability. With this release, Greenstone continues its commitment to empowering the agribusiness community with trusted, innovative technology.

Empower your growers with faster access, more innovative tools, and a better mobile experience this harvest season.

As harvest ramps up, efficiency matters more than ever. That’s why MyGrower—Greenstone’s digital grower portal—is rolling out major updates designed to streamline operations, save time, and simplify transactions and communication for agribusiness teams and their growers.

Whether you’re a cooperative, grain elevator, or ag retailer, these enhancements will help you serve the next generation of growers with less friction and more flexibility.

What’s New in MyGrower This Harvest Season?

1. Self-Signup with Admin Alerts

Allow Growers to self-serve. Growers can sign up independently, and admins are notified instantly for approval, speeding up onboarding and reducing admin load.

2. Password-Free Login Option

A new code-based login process allows growers to securely log in without a password, minimizing frustration and support requests.

3. “Remember My Device” for 30 Days

Once logged in on a trusted device, growers can stay connected for 30 days without re-entering credentials.

4. Smarter Grower Mobile App Landing Page

The new mobile app opens directly to the most relevant details—like recent messages, grain summaries, active tickets, and favorite bids—so growers get what they need at a glance.

5. Cleaner Screens with Intelligent Filters

Views like contracts, tickets, and settlements now default to the most relevant info (like open contracts with balances), helping growers focus faster and reduce clicks.

6. New Admin Mobile App for Field Support

Need to assist a grower in real-time? Your team can now sign up new users and troubleshoot access issues in real-time from anywhere with the new admin mobile app.

7. Refresh Grower and Admin Mobile App Experiences

We’ve also refreshed the grower and admin mobile app experiences to deliver a smoother, more intuitive interface, making it easier than ever for you and your growers to access information, manage account, and stay connected on the go.

New MyGrower User Experience

These improvements will continue making MyGrower a more innovative, faster way to support your growers, wherever the season takes them.
